Co-hosted by the National Center for State Courts, WVIZ/PBS ideastream and the City Club of Cleveland, broadcaster Tavis Smiley convenes an unprecedented listening tour, Courting Justice, featuring state supreme and appellate court judges. Courting Justice offers stakeholders from disenfranchised communities (including people of color, immigrants and the poor) an opportunity to discuss the issues that continue to erode the public trust in our justice system and help craft concrete reforms.Tavis Smiley will facilitate an hour-long dialogue during which the audience is encouraged to speak frankly about how they would reform our court system. The conversation will broadcast on Tavis Smiley on PBS and The Tavis Smiley Show from Public Radio International (PRI). Free and Invitation Only. Parking available at Playhouse Square Parking Garage located at 1450 Chester Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44115. Doors open at 10am. Event starts promptly at 11am.
